About the role
As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Full Time in Racine, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help deter unauthorized activity, support orderly operations, and assist with visitor directions and general inquiries.
- Observe the location for potential hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations, and report findings promptly to Allied Universal leadership and designated site representatives.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay & schedule
- Pay rate: $18.50 / Hour
- Schedule: Daytime, Monday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Friday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Saturday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sunday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
