About the role
As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Building Access Control in Fountain Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Auto and more. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring travel throughout the property while delivering outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions needing attention.
- Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with visitor processing and directing foot and vehicle traffic.
- Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, following post orders, and assisting with security-related responses to alarms, disturbances, and other site events.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Guard card and/or license preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
Pay
$22.00 per hour.
Schedule
- Full Time / Day Shift
- Monday – Thursday: 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM
