As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Access Control in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Maintain access control and assist with visitor, vendor, and employee access in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities while maintaining awareness of healthcare operations and privacy expectations.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to respond calmly and solve problems effectively.
- Knowledge of healthcare facilities and operations.
- Basic understanding of emergency response protocols.
