In this role as a Security Officer - Driver Patrol at a food and beverage location in Rochelle, IL, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate observations, and respond to concerns with integrity while contributing to Allied Universal's caring, reliable, and team-focused culture.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a food and beverage production location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, production-area access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required logs and documentation.
  • Report observed hazards, unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and security-related incidents to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay and schedule

Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
