About the role

As a Security Officer Driver Customer Service Patrol in Marlborough, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This part-time, unarmed patrol position requires a valid driver’s license and involves routine patrols, incident response, and exceptional customer service at a retail and mall location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report concerns according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; assist with directions, visitor inquiries, and other customer service needs.
• Communicate professionally with property personnel, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• CPR certification and customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Pay

$20.75 / hour

Schedule

• Thursday: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
