About the role
As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Monroe, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Utilities. This part-time, front-desk security professional role involves welcoming visitors, managing access control and badge procedures, monitoring entry activity, and providing outstanding customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal with professionalism, clear communication, and integrity while supporting a secure, welcoming environment through teamwork and a caring, people-first approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access at the front desk, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor passes, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests to appropriate departments or designated waiting areas.
- Receive and route incoming calls, report suspicious activity or access concerns, and communicate relevant information to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, visitor information, deliveries, and incidents while providing a professional front-desk presence.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$17.00 - $18.00 / hour
Schedule
- Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Sunday: 10:00 PM - 07:00 AM
