Security Officer - Driver Patrol

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for visitors and staff. You will manage access, monitor entry activity, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns while delivering exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, visitors, faculty, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor records, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established notification and escalation procedures.
• Answer incoming calls, provide general information and directions, and communicate security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of visitors, incidents, unusual activity, and daily front-desk operations.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
