About the role

As a Security Officer Driver Customer Assistance in Kingston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls. This part-time position offers flexibility with the ability to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform. As a Security Professional supporting a retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Schedule

Part-time schedule:

• Thursday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
