About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer Driver Incident Response Patrol in De Soto, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position supports a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication protocols.
  • Support a professional workplace environment by providing directions, assisting with routine inquiries, and reporting security-related concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$22.28 / hour

  • Monday: 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM
  • Friday: 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM
  • Saturday: 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM
  • Sunday: 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM
