Security Officer Driver Entry Support

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting security-related access control activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs for people, vehicles, and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, operational areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site policies.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing surroundings, reporting maintenance or procedural concerns, and following post orders related to restricted areas and key control.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
