What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Monitor dispatch communications, receive incoming calls and/or alarms, and coordinate the routing of personnel and resources based on site needs and incident priority.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and sharing timely updates with supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting unusual activity, access issues, and/or conditions that could require follow-up.
- Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and dispatch records to help support security-related operations, compliance expectations, and continuity of service.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have 5 years of industrial security-related experience or 2 years of military, law enforcement, EMT, or fire department service.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
