About the role
As a Security Officer Driver Credential Control in Brewton, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This part-time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Security Professional at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage access control, monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and help deter incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor and control access at entry points by verifying identification, visitor credentials, and authorization for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.
- Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery records; issue and collect access credentials as directed; and communicate access-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of designated entry areas, business facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
