Security Officer - Driver Credential Check

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry and exit activity, and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
• Monitor gates, doors, badge activity, and visitor/vendor check-in processes to help to deter unauthorized access and document unusual activity in required logs and/or reporting systems.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around production, warehouse, shipping/receiving, and perimeter areas, with attention to access points, restricted locations, and security-related concerns.
• Support food and beverage location operations by observing incoming deliveries, coordinating contractor and vehicle access, and communicating clearly with personnel regarding post orders and/or temporary entry restrictions.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21+
• Must be able to pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
