Job Description
As a Security Officer Driver Controlled Entry in West Memphis, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and following site-specific entry and exit procedures at the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the property by checking identification, visitor logs, deliveries, and/or vendor documentation in accordance with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and key access areas to help identify security-related concerns, unauthorized activity, and/or operational issues.
- Support emergency response activities by directing foot traffic, assisting with evacuations and/or restricted access procedures, and documenting security-related events as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
