About the role

As a Security Officer Driver Badge Control in West Des Moines, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the banking location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and observations in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license (required for this driving position).
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$20.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Position Type: Full Time
• Day shift: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Monday through Friday
