About the role
As a Security Officer Driver Access Control in Monroe, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Utilities. This part-time, driving position involves managing access control, visitor check-in, badge processes, and security-related communications at a utilities location. You will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while supporting a positive environment and maintaining site protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and utility customers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
- Staff the front desk and manage visitor check-in, identification verification, badge issuance, and notification of appropriate personnel in accordance with location procedures.
- Answer and direct incoming calls, maintain professional communications, and provide accurate information regarding visitor entry requirements and facility protocols.
- Monitor entry activity, visitor logs, alarms, and designated systems from the front desk; report unusual activity, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency and escalation procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Access control or badge experience (preferred).
- Customer service experience (preferred).
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$17.00 - $18.00 / Hour
Schedule
- Wednesday: 03:00 PM - 02:00 AM
- Friday: 03:00 PM - 02:00 AM
