About the role
As a Front Desk Security Professional at a healthcare location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence, supporting access control, visitor screening, and security-related communication. You will help maintain a professional environment by assisting guests, responding to concerns, and helping to deter incidents through attentive service. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or vendors at a healthcare front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying identification and appointment information, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals in accordance with site requirements.
- Monitor access activity, maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to appropriate site contacts.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining awareness of front-desk activity and reporting unusual or concerning activity to appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Valid New York State Security Guard License.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Pay
$22.64 - $23.64 / hour

- Monday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Tuesday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Wednesday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Thursday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
