Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location by observing entrances and exits, verifying credentials when required, and reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues.
- Support daily operations by assisting with lobby and public area presence, providing directions and information, and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders during security-related events.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
