About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location in downtown Phoenix, AZ, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving post offers the opportunity to communicate professionally with tenants and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property representatives by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and vendor entry as directed, and report unauthorized access, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
- Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and property management.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Guard Card/License is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
