Security Officer DoD Confidential Patrol Clearance Required

About the role

As a Security Officer with a DoD Confidential Patrol Clearance in Binghamton, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense. This part-time role offers flexibility through our Claim a Shift platform and the opportunity to explore new roles within a leading team.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Confidential clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
