Security Officer - Distribution Center

About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Concierge Security Officer in Redlands, CA. The position requires a 40-hour workweek on Thursdays through Sundays, from 10 PM to 6 AM, and operates as a third-shift position. The hourly wage is $18.25, with DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees. Responsibilities

• Tell us about how your natural ability to engage with others reassures and inspires confidence.
• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors.
• Manage access control.
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be proficient in basic phone & computer skills.
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience, it's even better!
• Have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card).
• Complete additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings (trainings can be obtained during the hiring process).
