Security Officer - Distribution Center
GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer. What matters most in this role is your ability to build meaningful connections and engage with others to reassure and inspire confidence. This position emphasizes customer service as you will interact with people across all shifts in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.
About the role
Site Location: Baldwin Park, CA
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- 1st & 2nd Shifts
- Friday - Saturday: 5am - 1:30pm
- Monday: 6am - 2:30pm
- Wednesday - Thursday: 1pm - 9:30pm
Pay
Competitive hourly wage of $19.29 per hour. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.

Responsibilities
- Customer service duties such as welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
- Manage access control
- Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
- Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Answer questions in person or by phone
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Requirements
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
- Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
- State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (additional training can be obtained during the hiring process)
