Security Officer Distribution Center

About the role

As a Security Officer / Distribution Center in Fontana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate professionally with site personnel, and support a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
