Security Officer Dispatcher

About the role
As a Dispatch Officer at a retail and mall location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, respond to calls for service, and support access control and incident reporting. You will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment through professional customer service, clear communication, and teamwork. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to retail location personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor dispatch communications, receive and document calls for service, and relay relevant information to on-site personnel and management.
- Coordinate responses to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, visitor or vendor activity records, and other dispatch-related documentation.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location and perimeter, reporting observed hazards, suspicious activity, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Pay
$21.63 / hour
Schedule
- Friday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
- Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
