As a Security Officer Dispatch - Healthcare in West Columbia, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities for a healthcare location.
- Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and/or video systems, receive calls for assistance, and relay information to the appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Document incidents, service requests, and unusual activity in dispatch logs and/or reporting systems, helping to support accurate communication and follow-up.
- Cookordination routine and urgent communications between officers, staff, visitors, and/or first responders while maintaining awareness of site conditions and priorities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support timely security-related communication across the location.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Hospital vaccines are required.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
