Security Officer Dispatch Driver

About the role
As a Dispatch Security Professional supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Lancaster, TX, you will coordinate communications, document security-related activity, and assist with directing resources to support site operations. You will maintain a professional presence, provide exceptional customer service, and help deter incidents through timely communication and awareness. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, access-control activity, and incoming calls; prioritize requests and coordinate appropriate responses with on-site personnel and emergency services when needed.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, dispatch records, and shift activity documentation in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating timely information to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, perimeter, and critical infrastructure locations, while reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
