Security Officer Dispatch Controller
Job Description
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Monitor communications systems, receive and relay routine and priority calls, and coordinate the dispatch of personnel to reported incidents, service requests, and security-related concerns.
Document incidents, calls for service, and operational activity in dispatch logs and related reporting systems with clear and timely updates for supervisors and/or site contacts.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support timely communication and coordination with on-site personnel and/or emergency responders.
Conduct regular and random patrol support functions through remote monitoring of cameras, alarms, and access activity, helping to identify unusual conditions around the business and perimeter.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
