Security Officer Dispatch Center

About the role

As a Security Officer Dispatch Center in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, manage access control and badge-related requests, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service while helping maintain an organized, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize calls for service, and coordinate the deployment of security professionals to incidents, requests, and critical situations.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, incidents, dispatch activity, and/or shift communications in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while monitoring access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Pay & schedule

Full Time. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour. Schedule: DayTime Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM.
