Security Officer Dispatch

About the Role

As a Security Officer Part Time Incident Dispatch in Westlake, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, particularly financial institutions. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to build a schedule that works for you through our Claim a Shift platform. You will coordinate communications, monitor incoming information, and support timely responses to security-related needs while maintaining situational awareness and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for security-related assistance, alarms, incidents, and service requests using established communication and dispatch procedures.
• Monitor communication systems, alarm notifications, and relevant site activity; document incident details, dispatch actions, and follow-up information accurately.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Maintain detailed dispatch logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with personnel across the location.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state and/or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour
