About the role

As a Security Officer Dispatch and Access Control in Denver, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a utilities location.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and/or other communication systems, and dispatch appropriate personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner during routine operations and critical situations.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and/or unusual activity with clear, accurate reports, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Help to coordinate responses to access issues, after-hours calls, utility service concerns, and/or other site needs while following post orders and established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, since working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
