Security Officer Daytime Campus Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Services in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Hotels & Resorts. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support guests, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service. You will contribute to access control and incident response while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, students, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel grounds, guest areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with directing visitors, providing information, and supporting a welcoming environment while maintaining a professional presence.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification.
• Access control and badge experience.
• Customer service experience.

Pay

$17.94 / hour

Schedule

• Full Time
• Day shift: 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM, Monday through Friday
