Security Officer Day Shift Hours

About the role

As a Security Officer in Saint Cloud, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, and assist visitors and employees with exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and maintenance issues to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Daytime shifts: Monday 08:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Tuesday 08:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Friday 08:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Saturday 08:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sunday 08:00 AM - 02:00 PM.
