Security Officer, Day Shift, Executive Services

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment for our patients, staff, visitors, physicians and volunteers
• Ensure quality outcomes for security department by communicating effectively with security, staff and the public
• Conducts foot patrols of the facility and parking areas
• Conducts vehicular patrols of the parking areas and off site locations
• Assists with restraining violent patients
• Use time and resources in a financially responsible manner
• Foster group cohesiveness within the security department
• Portrays a positive image of the organization

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous security experience, preferably in a hospital setting
• Must possess a US Driver’s License
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must be able to respond to physically demanding emergency calls

Pay

Pay Range: $19.21 - $24.90. If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process. Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as Non-Exempt.

Schedule

Employment Type: Full-time. Hours per Week: 40 hours/week. Typical Daily Schedule: 8 am-5 pm Monday through Friday. Shift Type: Day Shift. Holiday Requirements: Follow the company holiday calendar.
