Job Description
As a Security Officer - Data Center Guard in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading technology data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the data center campus, building interiors, exterior perimeter, loading areas, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Support a professional, controlled environment for technology operations by following post orders, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and assisting with traffic and visitor flow as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
