Security Officer Customer Service - Day Shift

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location in Mount Pleasant, WI, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. Use strong communication and customer service skills to address concerns, report security-related activity, and collaborate with the team while demonstrating our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, property concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift-related logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
