Security Officer Customer Service

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic retail location in Coventry, RI. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist customers and employees, and communicate clearly with the team. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter theft, trespassing, and other policy violations.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$22.36 / hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 11:00 AM - 09:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 AM - 09:00 PM
