Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and/or support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office spaces, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required, and document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Support a professional environment at a technology-focused location by communicating clearly with employees, guests, and contractors, and/or reporting maintenance, access, or policy-related issues to the appropriate contacts.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Computer or tablet proficiency.
• Guard card or license.
• Access control and/or badge experience.
