About the Role

As a Security Officer Customer Care Patrol Driver in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations with strong communication and customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directional information, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support crowd and traffic flow during events, peak activity periods, and/or special operations while maintaining a professional presence and following post orders.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Schedule: Wednesday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Thursday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Friday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Saturday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
