About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity and build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support access control activities at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery areas in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate logs and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
• Use computer or tablet systems to document security-related activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Pay

$17.51 / hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
