As a Security Officer Customer Assistance in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, greet and direct visitors as appropriate, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
