What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and/or actions taken according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify identification when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support site operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders for an armed assignment, and communicating professionally with local law enforcement, first responders, and/or management when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess Act 235 Qualification for Pennsylvania only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
