About the role
As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location in DAKOTA CITY, NE, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity using computer or tablet systems, and assist with security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional presence that helps deter concerns. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain access-related logs, and direct authorized personnel in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Observe and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and security-related conditions that may help to deter loss, disruption, or policy violations.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Pay
$19.72 / hour
Schedule
- Day shift: Monday–Friday, 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
