About the Role
As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Plainview, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a residential location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence for residents and visitors. You will communicate clearly, document security-related incidents, and help support a secure environment. - Day shifts: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain visitor records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, law enforcement, and emergency personnel while documenting incidents and observations accurately.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
