About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a vital utilities location. You will manage site access, verify credentials, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Working with a collaborative team, you will support a welcoming, secure environment while demonstrating Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven approach.

- Saturday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
- Sunday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized personnel in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity, unsecured entry points, or other security-related concerns.
- Complete accurate reports, logs, and other required documentation related to access activity, incidents, and shift operations.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
