Security Officer Credential Issuance

About the role

As an Access Control Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, maintain visitor and vehicle access records, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-control activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
