Job Description

As a Security Officer Credential Control in Fort Myers, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Our Access Control Officers at a busy retail location help monitor entry points and patrol assigned areas, supporting a secure environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff. This role combines visible presence, routine access screening, and outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific access control procedures, checking credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at the location.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
• Maintain a visible presence, routine access screening, and outstanding customer service and communication.
• Monitor doors, gates, loading areas, and other access points to help support authorized access, report unusual activity, and document security-related events according to post procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support retail location operations by providing directions, assisting with crowd and line management during busy periods, and reporting maintenance, traffic, and/or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
