Security Officer CPR Certified Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, check credentials when required, and support visitor and delivery processing in accordance with site protocols and post instructions.
• Observe and report maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations, and assist with orderly response actions during operational disruptions or emergencies.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications: Subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.
