Security Officer Corporate Tower

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Stamford, CT, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as required, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting emergency services when directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and daily shift operations.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Monday – Thursday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
