About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
Starting pay is $22.15 per hour.
Schedule
- Monday: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Tuesday: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Position type: Part-time. Paid orientation and paid training included.
