Security Officer - Corporate Office - Part Time

About the role

Apart from serving and safeguarding clients in various industries like Healthcare, you will work in a dynamic, welcoming, and collaborative environment. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and the chance to explore different roles through the Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain awareness of security-related issues in patient care and public areas.
• Assist with de-escalation support, direction-giving, and other customer service-related duties.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet state and/or local licensing requirements, if applicable.
